It's hump day

I'm glad it's Wed. I went to school this am and I'm about to go in for my night class in a little bit! I'm glad this week is half over. My AM class teacher said he's not going to be there on Fri so I probably won't go. I'll just work on the paper that is due next week. Or study for my Micro exam for Mon.

Man...Matt talked me into working on Sat. PM. I don't usually work on Sat or Sun but one of the girls quit the other day so they need someone to take her spot. He said I'm first "cut" and he said he'd buy me a meal so I decided to just do it. It will give me a couple more hours, so I'll live.

So when is it ok to tell a friend NO when they ask you a favor. I feel like I have to say Yes because I don't want them to think I am being rude, but I just don't know.

See one of my friends is having some issues with her mom and she has been needing a place to stay...A LOT! I feel bad because I don't want her to not have a place to stay, but it's not like she doesn't have a place to stay she just is choosing not to. I understand that her mom and her aren't getting a long, but my house has been so crazy lately with all the issues going on with the baby,my grandparents just left after like 4wks, and the hurricanes! Having an extra person around that I have to "entertain" all the time is getting me warn out.

I don't have an extra room/guest room, so she has to sleep on an air mattress on my floor that takes up all the walking space. I end up being woken up at the same time the alarm goes off for her, on my only day that I can sleep a little longer than normal.

I just don't know if it's wrong to be like "No not this time ,I'm sorry" . Ya know what I mean? It's so hard to figure out what is right to do. I know in order to help out other people, I have to be flexible but I have been! I just don't know if I'm being selfish or if I'm kinda being a push-over by saying yes everytime! Ya know? I don't know...it's confusing!

Friday night I guess I wouldn't mind as much because we both work that night and would be getting home at the same time. (even though I wouldn't really get to relax when I get home or sleep in the next am) But she probably needs a place Sat. night too, and that's where it gets hard...I work sat night(like I said earlier) she doesnt....so I won't be home and if she is coming in and out when I'm not there and etc I don't want to in convenience my parents since it is THERE house (I still live at home until I finish school). She said she is going out to a club Sat night (fine by me) but who knows what time she'll get home and if its early AM then again I'll be woken up. Ya know??

That's just the part that gets me. If you're at someone's house then you need to respect their hours...If that makes any since. Now if I had my own place and stuff I don't think I would mind as much but since this is their house and that we would be in the same room I don't think it will work out very well on sat. Maybe I can just approach it that way and just be like..."Ya know...I don't mind you staying Fri Pm (I'll get over not sleeping in AGAIN) but I just don't think it will work out for Sat Pm...isn't there someone she is going with that has a place for her to stay that night?

See if it were my place than it wouldn't be an issue, because it would just be me there...but here its my mom, dad, sister, and brother...ya know?

Well anyway guess I'll figure it out when the time comes. I better go get ready for class.
