Propert Owner???

This whole eminent domain thing is just so ridiculous.

What is the point of owning a house anyway if your city decides that it is necessary for them to have it?? I mean who wants to take the chance of spending your money on buying a house when they can just take it away if it suits them???

Even though it does say:

At least eight states — Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, Montana, South Carolina and Washington — forbid the use of eminent domain for economic development unless it is to eliminate blight. Other states either expressly allow private property to be taken for private economic purposes or have not spoken clearly to the question.

The power is still there and available. Just another step closer to being a socialistic country! Before too long all of our freedom is going to be 86-ed!
