The Verdict

With every big trial/news event (O.J., Martha Stewart, etc.) there is always one thing that stands out in my mind from each. And today I got mine from the Michael Jackson trial verdict.

I was gone all day & on my way home I was listening to Sean Hannity & heard that they were getting ready to give the verdict. I got home & turned the TV on while putting some stuff away, right before the verdict was read.

I was watching Fox News Channel & when they started to read the verdict they had a split screen 1/2 with the counts & verdict of each & then the other half was THIS LADY:


Give me a break!

Everytime they read another count & the verdict she would let another dove out. I'm sorry to make light of the situation (it was obviously very important to her & that's cool & all). But it was pretty much the funniest thing I've ever seen. I mean come on....Do we not have anything better to do than stand outside of a court room & release doves?

We all know the verdict so there is no since in me going on and on about the different counts etc. AND I'm not even going to get into what I think about the verdict. There was a jury & they decided the verdict from the evidence & I wasn't one of them so I'm not even going to go there!

I just had to post this picture. Many years from now, when the Michael Jackson trial comes up, I will remember this lady letting doves fly. (And of course I'll remember the day my brother & I watched those Trial Re-enactments on E! LMAO!!! I don't know if it was made to be funny, but we were amused by it anyway!)
