Did you see this???

So I am not feelin' too hot today so by about 3:00 I was laying on the couch reading a book. I turned the TV on in the background.

At 4:00 Oprah came on and she had Tom Cruise on today. OMG...he is so annoying. (BTW I've never really liked him) He was acting all...(in the best terms that I can think of) girlie. He was jumping around, doing some stupid hand motions...he couldn't sit still. I mean honestly who acts like that? And especially on OPRAH! I think the whole Katie & Tom thing is a bunch of junk anyway. He was trying to act giddy, but he just looked stupid!

I had to keep changing the channel just because he was getting so annoying. But I wanted to see what happened when he brought Katie or should I say (just like he kept saying "Kate"). So at the end she came out and they were all over each other, looking into each others eye,"I love you". PLEAZE!

I changed it for the final time literally 2 seconds after she was on stage I just couldn't handle it anymore!

I'm sorry but I just don't believe them...they seem so fake! And not to mention they both have movies coming out soon.

Ok, well that's enough of that rant!

Isn't it funny

how you think of so many things to post about when you are not in a place that you can!!?!! It's very annoying.

If you are ever having one of those "Stay At Home Watchin Movie Nights" then you should check out Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events it was pretty good! We had one of those nights last night and also I watched National Treasure. It was pretty good, for the most part. There were a couple different parts that were completely unbelievable!! But it was still pretty interesting. The character Riley was pretty funny! Well, since I can not figure out what it was that I meant to post about, I think I will go! Hopefully I will think of this later!

yummmm

Have you heard about this?? If you go to Wendy's this Fri.-Sun. and say that you'd like a free frosty...then they will just give you one! It's a Jr. size frosty but geeze...that's good enough! You don't need a coupon or anything. I dunno about you but I'm going to get one, or two or three!(hehe) I'm going out of town, so I think for an "adventure" I'm going to stop @ any Wendy's that I see and get a Frosty!

And of course we all know why Wendy's is doing this.... because of the women who "found" a finger in her Wendy's Chili I'm sure that it hasn't helped their sales. I thought it was gross but I, personally don't eat Chili @ Wendy's so I didn't really care either way. I wasn't going to stop eating there because of that! And now FREE FROSTYS sign me up!!!(lol)

Anyway, I just thought I would spread the word, because I know I love me some frostys!

The Amazing Race Winners

.
.
.
.
.
.
.

So the betting spoilers were right....Uchenna & Joyce won! Wow, it was a good show. I'm glad that they won, they got to the end first, which was amazing since they had no $$. They say they really want to have a kid so the $ will help them out a lot with that! Congrats for them.....

It is kind of bitter sweet though, considering the airline brought the airplane back to the gate & opened the doors to let them in, after the doors were closed & had already backed away. (Kind of interesting how that happened). I've never heard of an airline doing that before. (but I guess if you have cameras with you....anything is possible?)

Romber had a good race! They did a great job! They can atleast walk away saying that they never came in last place at all in the race...unlike anyone else!

I read this at Survior Sucks...and thought that it was a very interesting point(it's the last post):
Rob and Amber were robbed

I hate to think like this, but I can see where the producers had that plane come back because otherwise Rob and Amber win in a walk.
They really can't have it be a blow out.
If you think about it the producers though got what they wanted.
They got a nice story with Uchenna and Joyce winning and they also got a lot of mileage out of Rob and Amber being in the final 3 and creating so much tension, etc.

For the producers it was a win win. I can totally see them bringing that plane back.

[but that's how it goes...first to finish...]
Who knows....it was a good show. I don't know if I'll read the spoiler forums next time, I might just stick to the speculation or just nothing at all. I'm not sure how I like it better, to know too much about what might happen or just have to wait in between shows...it's a toss up. We'll see what happens. It was a lot of fun though!

I'm just glad that the finale was AFTER my final exams because it would've been hard to concentrate on studying with this going on!

Ok, I think that's all I have to say about it! But hey we get to see Rob & Amber get married in a few weeks! I'll probably Tivo....

[sorry yes I know that was the stupidest way to end the post but I happened to hear Ryan Seacrest (sp?) end American Idol that way tonight and thought it was the funniest/dumbest thing I'd ever heard...so I thought I'd mock him!!]

*****TONIGHT*****

OH MY GOSH...I can't wait! I love TAR and this season is especially fun! I watched Romber on Survivor and it was a lot of fun watching them on The Amazing Race too! Tonight @ 9 is the finale I can't wait! (opps I said that already)

I hadn't visited any boards or forums about the show until after last weeks episode. I just wondered if there were any hints going around on what to expect in the last show, so I googled TAR 7 and I found all these great forums with "spoilers" & speculations (Reality TV World, Survivor Sucks and Television Without Pitty) it's crazy! I kinda knew that they were out there but I had never really gone on them for TAR. (I've visited some for BB though)

It's amazing how these people come up with all this info from just studying the pictures, clips, previews from the different episodes and even from people who actually witnessed the taping of the show, but didn't know what it was until after TAR 7 began....very entertaining. I can see how it would get addictive! I have been checking them alot since last Tues.

I'm so anxious to see who wins tonight. I honestly don't care. I'd like to see Romber win just because they are the only ones left that have never finished last. But if Uchenna & Joyce win I'm ok with that too, they are a great team! I don't really want to see Ron & Kelly win...well I'd like Ron to win but I'm not a big fan of Kelly and since Ron can't win by himself I'd rather they not win! But I think that all these teams did a great job throughout the race and deserve to be in the F3!

We'll see what happens tonight...I have to wait until 9!! AHHHH. I'm just glad I'm on the East coast, because I would be too tempted to go online to see who won, before the show started!

I had to post about in on here, because I'm anxious and those forums are driving me crazy...is it 9 yet?(I actually think that reading the forms makes you more anxious but you just gotta)

[I know I might sound crazy to anyone who doesn't get into "reality" shows but I just love this one...actually CBS has great "reality" shows]

O W S T R U Z

Does that look familiar??? Those were the answers to my eye exam today... Too bad I didn't study ahead of time, I might have passed!(hehe just kidding)

But those stupid eye exams do put you under a lot of pressure...1 or 2, ok now which looks better 1 or 2. Sometimes even when I know that the correct answer is 1, I second guess myself. It's like a timed-test. Ahhhh....timed-tests are the worst!

I got through it ok. I guess I failed the test though, because he said that I'm 1 percent or 1 level (I forget the actual term he used) more near-sided than my previous glasses prescription.

So I got some new glasses. They are so cute. They are Guess. I like em' a lot! I'm still getting use to them though, because when you first put on new glasses with new prescriptions it looks a little funny at first your eyes have to adjust. (sorry for those of you who don't have the wonderful experience of wearing glasses to know what I'm talking about. HA)

I had been getting headaches because the prescriptions weren't strong enough. I don't wear classes that often, just when I don't have my contacts in. But it is nice to have a good prescription in my glasses incase I don't feel like wearing my contacts one day!

Well, that's it for now, my eyes are hurting from looking at the monitor & because of the glasses, etc.

Ms. Golightly....

I watched the beginning of Breakfast at Tiffany's this morning. I love Mr. Yunioshi(Mickey Rooney) he is so funny. Audrey Hepburn was just so classic.

I was watching the Amazing Race earlier, I love that show! It really gets you nervous when you are watching. It's a lot of fun. There are not too many shows out there that you feel that way about. It's intense. I've watched at least the last few seasons of it, I'd say it's pretty much the best "reality" show ever!(lol)

Well there was something else that I was going to put on this post, it was actually the main "subject" I was going to post about....but of course....I have no clue what it was now! I'm sure I'll think of it as soon as I finish this post and after my computer is off for the night! Aaaaaaaaaaahhhh...Don't you hate when that happens. Oh well.

Ummmmmmm......Nope still can't think of it. Ok, well I guess that is going to be it for now.

Check it out Check it out Check it out....

I have a couple "check these out" things for you.....

I went to Cirque Du Soleil in Orlando Saturday night and saw La Nouba it was so good! I love going to see that show. I have once previously and it just doesn't get boring. There is just so much going on, it's so great. I just can't believe that those people can do stuff like that...they are amazing dancers, acrobats, etc. It's crazy...I can't even imagine being able to do any of that.
They have La Nouba out on DVD & I heard that it was on Bravo the other night, so if you get a chance to see it, you should really check it out! It's amazing! And go to their site to learn more about it.

Also, you gotta see Spanglish. I Netflix-ed it the other day and just got to watch it Sat. night after the show. It is such a great movie. It's funny, kind of a romance, but it's just altogether a really good movie. If you haven't seen it yet, you should definitely see it! (sorry I'm not much of a movie review or whatever...I don't want to give anything away...just go see it!)

Well that's it for now. I just really enjoyed both of the things this weekend and had to share. You gotta check them out!
